The Girgarre Football Netball Club, as a community sporting organization, aims to provide as many people as possible with the opportunity to participate in Football and Netball in a welcoming, family-oriented environment. We achieve this by fostering skill development and coordination in a friendly atmosphere, promoting self-confidence, and ensuring the safety, welfare, and well-being of all players, members, and supporters.

 

A Little Bit About Us:

Proudly part of the Kyabram District Football Netball League since 1920, our club has a rich history of success, boasting numerous premierships in both Senior and Junior Football and Netball. However, we believe our most significant contribution to the community lies in our commitment to the social development of our members.

 

We strive to cultivate a sense of belonging and integration, encouraging personal growth and teamwork. Through initiatives like youth development programs and community events, we aim to strengthen family connections and create a vibrant, supportive environment for everyone. Our dedication to both sport and community engagement truly makes the Girgarre Football Netball Club a cornerstone of local life.

Our Club:

In season 2025 GFNC has entered 11 Teams with approximately 150 players:

 

Netball:

• Under 11

• Under 13

• Under 15

• Under 17

• C Reserve

• C Grade

• B Grade

• A Grade

 

We are also running a Net Set Go Programme for our youngest members who are too young to participate in the Under 11 division.

 

Football:

• Under 18

• Reserves

• Seniors

 

We are also running an Auskick Programme for our youngest members who are too young to participate in our Junior Football Program.

With our strong membership base, the Girgarre Football Netball Club enjoys significant visibility and unique brand exposure opportunities. Our clubrooms are well-frequented year-round, and the on ground signage and digital signage available in the clubrooms provides excellent brand awareness opportunities. Additionally, we maintain a robust social media presence, allowing us to engage with our community and promote our sponsors effectively. These platforms enhance our reach and strengthen connections with current and potential members, making Girgarre Football Netball Club a valuable partner for local businesses.
